“Hero Pioneers” - vintage Soviet book from 1961. A collection of stories about young pioneers during patriotic wars.
Another of my favourite themes on postcards - school and pioneers. I dig the image of the perfect youngster shown on postcards. Utopia with a 50s feel. Also those sepia postcards from the 30s - very interesting specimen from the transitional time from Russian Empire to Soviet Russia. Their haircuts still look like roaring 20s.
