This blog is about old postcards, book illustration, history and culture of Russia and the Soviet Union. I'm a long time collector, and this blog is 10 years old.
Not Soviet, but these are so darling and rare I want to post them. Chocolate box inserts from Tsarist Russia (1900s).
Antique promo postcard by Эйнемъ /Einem/, a Russian confectionery factory (later known as the Red October in the USSR) - 1890s. It advertises a chocolate bar called “Take It If You Can” that had this design on the wrapper.
