“Have a Good Path!” Back to school postcard by A. Lopatin (Kazakh SSR, 1960s)
“В добрый путь” (have a good path / on your good path / hope your path will be good) is a traditional greeting for someone starting a new path in life, including children who start school or those who graduate. It’s similar to English Godspeed I believe.
