It’s true spring in Russia, and to celebrate that (and also the “Labour”) Russia is off for 4-day holidays. I will be out of town until May 5 exploring the Golden Ring (Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Rostov, Pereslavl).
All incoming orders will be shipped after May 5.

All things Soviet (1922—1991): photography, objects, songs, movies, persons.
I’ll collect Soviet memorabilia here that I like and that gives that special nostalgic feeling for the “good old times”. I’m Russian and I was born in the USSR, so some of it carries a special meaning for me, they are things I remember, bits of my childhood. Earlier eras also fascinate me big time. I want to capture daily life of ordinary people in the big country rather than its political and military history. Life that is still remembered and missed by many.
Hi everyone! Sorry for being MIA, I’m not dead but it’s finally warm outside so I try to be out as much as I can and travel too. So I’ll be mostly absent for the best part of the summer. (Also there are no major Soviet holidays for summer, so I won’t be missing anything.) I hope you’re not spending this wonderful time at your computer stalking tumblr haha.
