“Pioneers.” Porcelain figurine designed by Kazimir Ryzhov and produced at Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (USSR, late 1930s).
Cover of “Building USSR” (August 1937). You can see the specially designed ring that held together a pioneer’s red scarf. Those rings were widely used until late 30s and then were gradually replaced with pioneer pins.
